PASSPORT & VISA
All international participants must have a valid passport. Participants from North America and the European Community do not require a Visa to visit Puerto Rico. Visas are obligatory for citizens of other countries: http://www.unitedstatesvisas.gov. Please check with the nearest American Embassy of your Country: http://www.usembassy.gov the required information that you should present for a brief participation to the Abraham Rosa International 10k Race in Toa Baja, Puerto Rico. Make all arrangement ahead of time because it might take time for its approval. If you need any letter from the Organizing Committee to confirm the reason of your application do not hesitate to send us an e-mail.
CUSTOMS REGULATIONS
There are no passports and visas necessary for US citizens which means that US citizens can travel freely in and out of the island without going through immigration or customs. US citizens only need to have some sort of official government issued picture identification to enter Puerto Rico such as current driver’s license. Citizens of other countries have the same requirements as for entering the USA. Potential visitors must first obtain a visa, either a non-immigrant visa for temporary stay or an
immigrant visa for permanent residence.
LUIS MUÑOZ MARÍN INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
The Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport is a major interconnecting point to the Caribbean. Is about 9 miles to Condado and 9 miles from Old San Juan and can be reached by taxi, bus or rental car.

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION IN SAN JUAN METRO
The Metropolitan Bus Authority (AMA and Metrobus) operates in San Juan Metropolitan Area. Stops are marked by green and white signs which read “Parada”. Buses run between certain hours, usually until 9:00 p.m. For route, terminals or schedule, contact the AMA at (787) 767-7979.
The Urban Train, “Tren Urbano” is a 10.7 mile metropolitan rapid transit system which links the central business district to residential and employment areas in San Juan, Bayamón, and Guaynabo. The train operates everyday from 5:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. For information and schedule call 1-866-900-1ATI (1284).

BANKS
All banks in Puerto Rico are open between 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM from Monday to Friday. Every bank has a 24-hour cash machine. Almost all shops, restaurants and hotels accept most major debit and credit cards.

During the month of October the weather in San Juan is around 88° F during the day and 76° F at night. All public buildings have air condition so business casual attire is suggested.
CURRENCY
The official currency is the US Dollar. Tipping is customary at 15-20% throughout Puerto Rico.
